Our structure
Carr-Gomm’s Executive Team is responsible for overseeing all of Carr-Gomm’s work and for reporting to the Board of Trustees and is made up of Chief Executive, Gary Lashko, Continuous Improvement Director, Finance Director and two Operations Directors. Our Board of Trustees consists of 15 people - five of whom are Carr-Gomm service users. For more information on the Board, go to Our Board.
Nine Areas
Carr-Gomm is split into nine areas across England, North, North East, North West, Midlands, South West, Devon, South Central, North London & the Home Counties, South London & South East Coast. Two Operations Directors manage the areas, and are assisted by Operations Managers (OMs).
OMs oversee an individual geographical area (e.g. North West) and builds partnerships with other stakeholders. OMs also manage Local Service Managers who are responsible for a number of schemes in a specific county or London borough within the geographical boundary.
LSMs manage Project Workers, Support Assistants and local services who provide individuals with the support they need. New Business Managers are responsible for developing new services in existing and new areas.
Denise Brown is Operations Director for the North, North East, North West and Midlands.
Mel Shad is Operations Director for the South West, South Central, North London and the Home Counties, South London and South East Coast.
Continuous Improvement Directorate
Continuous Improvement Director, Brendan Peacock, is based in Leeds and manages a team of departments that are spread across the country that all contribute to the quality and diversity of Carr-Gomm’s services.
- Quality and Compliance: coordinate all of Carr-Gomm's performance criteria and other information that needs to be fed back to our regulators.
- Client Involvement: regionally-based Client Involvement Officers work closely with support staff and clients to encourage the involvement and empowerment of our clients in Carr-Gomm’s services.
- Policy: monitor and update Carr-Gomm’s policies.
- Human Resources: recruitment and other employee issues.
- Learning and Development: develop and provide in-house training to equip staff with the skills and experience to achieve personal and organisational goals.
- Health and Safety: train all staff and make sure our properties and offices are up to standard.

Finance Directorate
Kevin Kelly (Change Director Finance) manages the finance team . The finance team deal with collecting rents, purchase orders and invoices, coordinating payroll and there is also a small team of financial accountants who produce management accounts and liaise every year with the internal and external auditors.
Kevin also manages the ICT team who provide hardware and software needs across the organisation and to clients as well as helpdesk support.
Scotland
