Measuring change
A new tool for measuring service user outcomes
- Service user-led and easy to use
- Meets Supporting People and other reporting requirements
- Relevant to all client groups and service types
A variety of tools and models are available to measure service user outcomes, but many of them are designed for staff to use for administrative and reporting purposes, and may be off-putting or difficult for service users to understand or engage with.
Carr-Gomm’s service users worked with us to develop both the content and the format of the toolkit, and as a result it is user-friendly and can be used by service users, either with or without staff, to track their progress in a range of areas.
The Measuring Change toolkit is suitable for use in all types of support services – including long term, short term, accommodation based, floating support and day centres. It can be used with any needs group including mental health, substance misuse, HIV, women-only and young people.
