Carr-Gomm’s Quality & Compliance Team is part of the Service Improvement Department.
The team’s role is to ensure that the links between compliance, performance and quality are approached systematically.
The team supports a culture based on strong client focus, excellent performance and continuing service improvement and learning across Carr-Gomm’s network of national service delivery.
Our Approach to Quality
Carr-Gomm has made an organisational commitment to quality underpinned by its business plan to deliver safe and good quality services which are continuously improving to achieve positive client outcomes. This is evidenced through:
- The establishment of standards and measures that reflect the quality of service that Carr-Gomm expects in relation to agreed strategic planning and business priorities;
- Performance measurement and management information reporting structures to enable strategic decision-making in development, housing management and support;
- Ensuring that standards and measures meet the needs and desired outcomes of our clients within the framework of “Choice and Commitment”.
This is achieved by:
- The development of a comprehensive Quality Framework with clear and measurable standards and performance indicators across all Carr-Gomm departments including relevant external and internal benchmarking;
- Advice and support to managers on practice and development of Carr-Gomm service delivery;
- A focus on developing and promoting good practice and organisational development within a framework of continuing improvement and learning;
- The development of a programme of quality audit across Carr-Gomm with a focus on service delivery and client experience to complement existing internal audit procedures and best value review;
- The development of an expert knowledge base in both housing management and support together with a knowledge management strategy to underpin effective service delivery and development;
- A clear programme of service improvement initiatives informed by Carr-Gomm’s Service Improvement Strategy and Business Plan.
