Going the distance to raise money
David Pepper, New Business manager in the South West, will be running, not one, but two marathons this year to raise money for Carr-Gomm! David, who turns 40 this year, has decided to celebrate with the London Marathon in April, before taking on the Chicago marathon in October.
David’s commitment to helping those we work with is outstanding.
“I have worked for Carr-Gomm for 14 years and in that time I’ve seen the way the support we provide has transformed the lives of some of the most disadvantaged people in our communities.
“The money raised will help people develop vital life skills, gain greater independence, manage their mental health better and gain greater access to education and employment opportunities.”
He adds: “I’m aiming to beat my personal best of 3 hours and 56 minutes but if I run under four hours I’ll be happy."
