Project Director wanted for new mental health initiative
SIGNPOST KENT is a new joint venture, established by Carr-Gomm, Mental Health Matters and mcch, to improve outcomes for people experiencing mental health problems through achieving tangible self-determination. We will build an information rich website comprising mental health and wellbeing resources, tailored to individual support. We'll back this up with one-to-one support, enabling individuals to direct their own plans and navigate a path through local resources and onto recovery.
The role of Project Director will be to transform our rich seam of ideas and experience into practical action and outcomes. Starting in Kent, you'll forge strong partnerships with primary and secondary care mental health teams. You'll provide operational and strategic leadership, establish the new venture and be a powerful advocate for self-directed support.
With a hands-on approach to work, you'll have a strong track-record in project management and be familiar with managing complex issues that arise from bringing about innovation and change. You will be looking to develop your strategic management skills further. You will relish the task of introducing and embedding new methods of support to make self-determination a practical reality in mental health.
