Join the board
Carr-Gomm is a Registered Charity and a Registered Company limited by guarantee, as well as a Registered Social Landlord (and Housing Association). All of these registrations bring with them laws and guidelines, with which Carr-Gomm must comply. The Board makes sure that Carr-Gomm is operating correctly, within the law, and within the best interests of the clients we serve.
A Board of Trustees works best when the members have a variety of skills and experience between them that enable them to best support the organisation. Carr-Gomm Board members are recruited when a vacancy arises, based on an analysis of the skills and backgrounds of the current Board's members.
Carr-Gomm's Board of Trustees is made up of 15 people who volunteer their time to help govern Carr-Gomm. Five of the members are Carr-Gomm clients.
